The power to love ( 1 John 3:18-24 ).

According to the text, we should not love nominally or only verbalize love but demonstrate it through our actions. Love requires sacrifice. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" ( John 3:16 ). Jesus, our Chief Shepherd laid down His life and reconciled us with God out of love. And the greatest of all the commandments is love. Therefore, we should love God and our fellow human beings ( Matthew 22:37-39 ). be kind to your neighbours and those around you; help ameliorate the burdens of others and sincerely encourage others.
