True happiness in God

 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrows of heart, and shall bowl for vexatiion of spirit.

Isaiah 65:14

And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the LORD God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name.

Isaiah 65:15

That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

Isaiah 65:16

For, behold, I create new heavens and new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind

Isaiah 65:17

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy

True happiness in God

 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips.

Psalm 63:5

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

Psalm 63:6

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow thy wings will I rejoice.

Psalm 63:7

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand uphold me.

Psalm 63:8

But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

Psalm 63:9

They shall fall  by the sword they shall be a portion for foxes.

Psalm 63:10

But the King shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory but the mouth of them that speaks lies shall be stopped.

True happiness in God

 But let righteous be glad, let them rejoice before God yea. let them exceedingly rejoice.

Psalm 68:3

Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name Jah, and rejoice before him.

Psalm 68:4

A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

Psalm 68:5

God setteth the solitary  in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

Psalm 68:6

O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst March through the wilderness; selah

Psalm 68:8

The earth shock, the heaven also dropped at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

Thy congregation hath dwell therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor.

The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.

Ascribe ye strength unto God: his Excellency is over Israel. and his strength is in the cloud.

O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.

 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day holy unto our LORD: neither by ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Nehemiah 8:10

So the Levite's stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.

And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

And they found written in the law which the LORD had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month.

And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Joshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.
