The assignment given to Adam in the above passage was the only thing he was doing until God, in verse 18 of Gen, 2, decided to get aid for him. This suggest that what the Bible means by help meet for { Adam } is an aid to help him dress and keep the garden - to aid Adam in fulfilling his assignment in the Garden of Eden. Therefore, you can rightly say that the primary purpose of marriage in this generation is to aid you in fulfilling your purpose in the kingdom of God. In this generation, the kingdom of God can be likened to the Garden of Eden. When Adam sinned, man was driven out of the Garden of Eden. But our Lord Jesus Christ redeemed us and translated us back into the kingdom of God.
