The Primary purpose of marriage ( Malachi 2:16 )

The primary purpose of a thing must be established before the creation of that thing. Primary purpose implies the original intention for creating a thing, other purposes that it may serve become secondary. No matter how important those other purposes may be; they remain secondary. If a man in need of stamping his official documents produces an InkPad, then the primary purpose of producing the InkPad is for stamping his documents. If after the production of the InkPad, the man then uses it for thumb printing, the primary purpose of producing the InkPad still remains stamping of documents. In as much as you can say that thumb printing is one of the purposes of the InkPad, it is secondary because it emanated after the production of the InkPad. The primary purpose of a thing is the original reason for creating it. In this case, it means the foremost reason why marriage was founded.
