Joseph in heaven.

In proportion as Joseph humbled himself in this world he is exalted in glory in heaven. While on earth he was as the last men, in heaven he is next to Jesus and Mary. On earth he suffered the most abject poverty, in heaven he is in the possession of everything, and with Mary is the dispenser of the Divine treasures. On earth he had to depend on everybody, in heaven he is treated with honour, and there he commands rather than petitions. He is an object of pleasure to the Holy Trinity, to the Father of whom he is the image on earth, to the son whom he fed with the labour of his hands, to the Holy spirit whose inspiration he followed faithfully. Mary the Queen of heaven regards him with tenderness, the angles and saints rejoice in his triumph. Thus is the honour given to him whom the king of kings has honoured. The great theologian suarez exclaimed: "O Joseph, how great is your glory in heaven: you surpass all the saints in grace and beatitude!" St Joseph's happiness in heaven equals his glory.
